DUMBBELLS:

There are many benefits and advantages to incorporating dumbbell exercises into your workout.

If used correctly, dumbbells can help build, tone, strengthen and shape muscles in the most beautiful and healthy way.

The purpose of using dumbbells is to give the body a fuller range of motion. However, dumbbells should be used to add resistance throughout the exercise movement. However, the dumbbells should never be used in a “jerking, swinging, or hoist” way.

​

Several benefits for incorporating dumbbells exercises are:

  • Shaping the muscles.

  • Increase strength.

  • Best use when recovering from injuries.

  • Inject variety into your workout.

  • Easier to use when in the gym with a variety of lbs.

 

STEP:

TRX:

TRX, short for Total Body Resistance Exercise, is a system that relies on gravity and body weight to work out different muscle groups in the body. The TRX system consists of heavy-duty nylon straps, foot cradles, handles, and padding.

The TRX equipment has several advantages, including portability and versatility for hitting every muscle group in the body.

TRX workout benefits are manifold as it improves flexibility, coordination, and balance. In addition, training with the TRX also builds strength as it pushes your body to its limits, and yes, you get a great aerobic workout.

 

BUNGEE FITNESS:

Bungees are stretchy, bouncy bands that attach to the ceiling, and you are harnessed at the waist.  The cord creates a resistance that forces you to recruit various muscle groups to work against it.  Bungee workouts are low-impact, full-body cardio that use bungees to perform classic bodyweight exercises. The bungees will try to pull you up into the air, creating a resistance for you to work against.  Bungee workouts offer a full-body workout, easy on the joints, and has several possible benefits, such as:

  • Enhances your posture

  • Improves balance and stability

  • Is low impact

  • Promotes weight loss

  • Strengthens your heart

 

TRAMPOLINE:

Jump on it! Jump on it! Jump on a trampoline, that is, if you want some serious health benefits disguised within a very fun, bouncy workout. Exercising on an indoor mini trampoline is both safe and beneficial to your health.

 

These smaller versions, known as rebounders, are specifically designed for individual workouts.  Rebounding (the act of jumping on a rebounder) is a full-body workout that impacts — you guessed it — your entire body. Here are some of the known health benefits of jumping on a mini trampoline:
